Update on my growing business

I didn't realize it had been so long since I had made a blog post. I've been so busy with school starting, orders and growing my business that I haven't had any time to just write out all that has been going on. I'll keep this short and to the basics just to save time.

*School started back in August and we as a family decided to keep Easton home for at least the first 2 9 weeks. Due to covid outbreaks and my compromised immune system we didn't want to take any chances. It has been a blessing and a curse to have her home. She is thriving doing school at home and she loves being home with her sister. On the downside she's finishing her work really quickly which means trying to find her more work to do while I and my husband are working. For the most part she's entertained by her sister but it does cause more fights and constantly hearing "I'm bored." Kalynn is also home and not going to daycare this year. It was so helpful to have her going twice a week last year so I could run errands and just have full blocks of time to work. With her being home I'm constantly having to watch her because she's always getting into something new. On the bright side she is talking more and her and Easton's bond is so strong because they have each other to play with.

*My husband has been working at home since March. I love not having to worry about him traveling but also it is rather difficult for us both to be working from home with two active girls in the house. We're finding ways to make it work. With him being home so much he made me a huge work space desk and storage for my office. I absolutely love it and makes my work so much easier.

*My business is growing. I'm sad to see that my photography is at a standstill at the moment due to covid but at the same time Stitching Star is doing wonderful. And now that I've started Virgo Star Beauty it also keeps me busy. I had a huge order for lotion bars in October. 180 lotion bars I had to make in 3 days. It was so overwhelming but I'm so thankful for the opportunity. I've been designing a lot more shirts lately but I've also added some new products like embroidery hoop ornaments and gnome decorations.

*The Broad Collective is planning Village Pillage again this year. I won't be participating due to covid but I will be out running it. I'm really excited for how many people we have interested in our event and all the precautions we are taking for it. We also have the Providence Village HOA parade going during our event so I think that will help bring in a lot of new people and make our event even bigger.

Well that is it for now.
